PanoView Editor expects an approximately 2:1 equirectangular panorama. When a valid panorama is active, the plugin can load it into the interactive 360° viewer.

Open the 360 Photo Editor panel inside Photoshop. The active panorama is loaded into the interactive viewer, allowing you to explore the image naturally before choosing the view you want to edit.

Drag inside the 360° viewer to look around the panorama. Use the mouse wheel to adjust the field of view, or use the Heading, Pitch, and Zoom controls for precise positioning.

When you find the view you want to work on, click “Edit This View”.
PanoView Editor creates a perspective editing view from the current camera position and prepares it for editing inside Photoshop.

Production editing operations use the source panorama at full resolution. The interactive preview may use an optimized representation for responsive navigation, but your source panorama is not silently downscaled.
For large operations, PanoView Editor may display a memory preflight before continuing. You can cancel the operation or choose “Continue at Full Resolution”.
The selected view opens automatically as an editable Photoshop PSB document.
The document contains a locked “Background/Reference” layer and an editable “360 Edit” layer.
Make your creative changes on the 360 Edit layer using the Photoshop tools and workflows you already know.

When your edit is ready, return to PanoView Editor and click “Apply View Edits”.
PanoView Editor detects the changes made to the perspective view and projects the edited pixels back into the original 360° panorama.
Your result is added to the panorama workflow without replacing the original panorama image.
Applied edits are written into a dedicated projection layer in the original panorama document.

Open “360 Preview” to inspect the updated panorama interactively.
Navigate around the result and verify that your edit integrates naturally into the surrounding 360° scene.
360 Preview also provides composition tools including aspect-ratio framing and guidelines when you want to create a new perspective document from your panorama.
